Sec. § 524.013
Notice of Department’s Determination


If the department suspends a persons drivers license, the department shall send a notice of suspension by first class mail to the persons address:


in the records of the department; or


in the peace officers report if it is different from the address in the departments records.


Notice is considered received on the fifth day after the date the notice is mailed.


If the department determines not to suspend a persons drivers license, the department shall notify the person of that determination and shall rescind any notice of drivers license suspension served on the person.
