Tex. Transp. Code Section 396.045
Penalty

(a)

A person commits an offense if the person violates an ordinance adopted under this subchapter that defines an offense.

(b)

An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $500.

(c)

Each day a violation continues is a separate offense.
