Revocation or Suspension of License; Appeal


(a)

The commission may revoke or suspend a license issued under this subchapter or place on probation a license holder whose license is suspended if the license holder violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter. If the suspension of the license is probated, the department may require the license holder to report regularly to the commission on any matter that is the basis of the probation.

(b)

The judicial appeal of the revocation or suspension of a license must be initiated not later than the 15th day after the date of the commission’s action.

(c)

The commission may adopt rules for the reissuance of a revoked or suspended license and may set fees for the reissuance.

(d)

The commission may deny the renewal of a license holder’s license if the license holder has not complied with the permit requirements of this chapter or Chapter 394 (Regulation of Outdoor Signs on Rural Roads).
