Requirements for Certain Contracts

(a)

Chapter 2269 (Contracting and Delivery Procedures for Construction Projects), Government Code, applies to the district’s public work contracts, as defined by Section 2269.001 (Definitions), Government Code. Section 2269.003 (Conflict of Laws; Requirement to Follow Procedures of This Chapter)(d), Government Code, does not apply to the district.

(b)

The district shall comply with Subchapter A (Short Title), Chapter 2254 (Professional and Consulting Services), Government Code.
