Purchasing and Contracting

The commission, in the performance of functions under this chapter, has the same powers granted to a county under Subchapter C (Short Title), Chapter 262 (Purchasing and Contracting Authority of Counties), and Chapter 271 (Purchasing and Contracting Authority of Municipalities, Counties, and Certain Other Local Governments), Local Government Code, and is subject to the same requirements imposed on a county under those provisions.
