Hearings for Exclusion of Land

(a)

The board is not required to call or hold a hearing on the exclusion of land or other property from the district; provided, however, that the board shall hold a hearing if an owner of land or other property located in the district files a written petition for a hearing with the board secretary before the district’s first bond election is called.
