Annexation of Territory

(a)

Territory may be added to the district as provided by:

(1)

Subchapter J (Adding Land by Petition of Landowner), Chapter 49 (Provisions Applicable to All Districts), Water Code; or

(2)

Subchapter O (Exclusion of Nonagricultural and Nonirrigable Land from the District), Chapter 51 (Water Control and Improvement Districts), Water Code.

(b)

If the district annexes territory, the board shall determine the precincts to which annexed territory is added for the purpose of electing directors.
