Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 8848.151
Limitation on Tax Rate for Debt


The district may impose an ad valorem tax at a rate not to exceed 20 cents for each $100 of assessed valuation to pay any part of the bonds or notes issued by the district if a majority of the voters approve:

(1)

the authority to impose the tax at the confirmation election; or

(2)

that authority at a separate election called for that purpose by the board.
