Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 8837.153
Limitation on Indebtedness

The district may issue bonds and notes under Subchapter F (Issuance of Bonds and Notes), Chapter 36 (Groundwater Conservation Districts), Water Code, except that the total indebtedness created by that issuance may not exceed $500,000 at any time.
