Municipal Utility District Powers

The district has the rights, powers, privileges, functions, and duties provided by general law applicable to a municipal utility district created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, including those conferred by Chapters 49 (Provisions Applicable to All Districts), 50 (Provisions Generally Applicable to Districts), and 54 (Municipal Utility Districts), Water Code.
