District Territory


(a)

The district is composed of the territory described by Section 3, Chapter 959, Acts of the 73rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1993, as that territory may have been modified under:

(1)

Subchapter H (Consolidation of Districts), Chapter 54 (Municipal Utility Districts), Water Code, before September 1, 1995;

(2)

Subchapter J (Adding Land by Petition of Landowner), Chapter 49 (Provisions Applicable to All Districts), Water Code; or

(3)

other law.

(b)

The boundaries and field notes contained in Section 3, Chapter 959, Acts of the 73rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1993, form a closure. A mistake made in the field notes or in copying the field notes in the legislative process does not affect:

(1)

the organization, existence, or validity of the district;

(2)

the right of the district to impose taxes; or

(3)

the legality or operation of the district or its governing body.
