Levee Improvement District Powers

The district may exercise all of the rights, powers, privileges, and functions conferred or imposed by the general law of this state applicable to a levee improvement district created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, including those provided by Chapters 49 (Provisions Applicable to All Districts) and 57 (Levee Improvement Districts), Water Code.
