Special Utility District Powers

The district has the rights, powers, privileges, functions, and duties provided by general law applicable to a special utility district created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, including those provided by Chapters 49 (Provisions Applicable to All Districts) and 65 (Special Utility Districts), Water Code.
