Improvement Project and Service in Definable Areas

The district may undertake an improvement project or service that confers a special benefit on one or more definable areas in the district that share a common characteristic or use and levy and collect a special assessment on benefited property in the district in accordance with:

(1)

Chapter 372 (Improvement Districts in Municipalities and Counties), Local Government Code; or

(2)

Chapter 375 (Municipal Management Districts in General), Local Government Code.
