Authority to Impose Assessments, Ad Valorem Taxes, and Impact Fees

The district may impose, assess, charge, or collect an assessment, an ad valorem tax, an impact fee, or another fee in accordance with Chapter 49 (Provisions Applicable to All Districts), Water Code, for a purpose specified by Chapter 375 (Municipal Management Districts in General), Local Government Code, or as needed to exercise a power or function of the district or to accomplish a purpose or duty for which the district was created.
