Tax and Bond Elections


(a)

The district shall hold an election in the manner provided by Subchapter L (Time of Election), Chapter 375 (Municipal Management Districts in General), Local Government Code, to obtain voter approval before the district imposes an ad valorem tax or issues bonds payable from ad valorem taxes.

(b)

The board may include more than one purpose in a single proposition at an election.

(c)

Section 375.243 (Petition Required for Bond Election), Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.
