Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 3837.157
Tax and Bond Elections


The district shall hold an election in the manner provided by Subchapter L (Time of Election), Chapter 375 (Municipal Management Districts in General), Local Government Code, to obtain voter approval before the district imposes a maintenance tax or issues bonds payable from ad valorem taxes.


The board may include more than one purpose in a single proposition at an election.


Section 375.243 (Petition Required for Bond Election), Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.
