Consent for Change or Damage to State Property

The district must obtain the written consent of the governmental entity having control and jurisdiction over state property, including a facility, before the district may proceed with an action to change or damage the property.

Sec. 21.214. BIDS ON CONTRACTS FOR PURCHASE OF VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPLIES OVER $15,000; EXCEPTION. (a) If the estimated amount of a proposed contract to purchase vehicles, equipment, or supplies is more than $15,000, the board shall ask for competitive bids as provided by Subchapter B, Chapter 271 (Purchasing and Contracting Authority of Municipalities, Counties, and Certain Other Local Governments), Local Government Code.

(b)

This section does not apply to:

(1)

the purchase of property from a public agency; or

(2)

a contract for personal or professional services.
