Reimbursement for Services


(a)

The board shall require a county or municipality located outside the district to reimburse the district for the district’s care and treatment of a sick or injured person of that county or municipality.

(b)

The board shall require the sheriff of Sutton County to reimburse the district for the district’s care and treatment of a person confined in a jail facility of Sutton County who is not a district resident.

(c)

On behalf of the district, the board may contract with the state or federal government for that government to reimburse the district for treatment of a sick or injured person.
