Board Election; Term

(a)

The board consists of seven directors elected as follows:

(1)

two directors elected from County Commissioners Precinct 3 by the voters of that precinct;

(2)

two directors elected from County Commissioners Precinct 4 by the voters of that precinct; and

(3)

three directors elected from the district at large by the voters of the entire district.

(b)

Directors serve staggered two-year terms unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081 (Optional Four-year Terms), Health and Safety Code.
