Temporary Directors


(a)

If the creation of the district is approved at the elections held under Subchapter D-1 (Dissolution; Election), Chapter 1004 (Ballinger Memorial Hospital District), Section 20c, Chapter 206, Acts of the 61st Legislature, Regular Session, 1969, and Section 1072.021 (Election on Creation of District), the following persons shall serve as temporary directors of the Runnels County Hospital District:

(1)

Lewis Bergman;

(2)

Charles Brown;

(3)

Mike Dankworth;

(4)

Rodney Flanagan;

(5)

Bill Hunter;

(6)

Paul Sklenarik;

(7)

Dewey Whitfield.

(b)

The temporary board shall serve as the temporary directors of the district until the initial elected directors take office under Section 1072.025 (Initial Elected Directors).

(c)

A vacancy on the temporary board of directors shall be filled by the Commissioners Court of Runnels County.

(d)

To serve as a temporary director, a person must be:

(1)

a resident of the district; and

(2)

a qualified voter.

(e)

An employee of the district may not serve as a temporary director.
