Contracts for Hospitalization, Treatment, and Training

(a)

The board may contract with any person located inside or outside the district’s boundaries for the hospitalization and treatment of a sick or injured person.

(b)

The district may contract with any person located inside or outside the district’s boundaries for services provided by the district, including:

(1)

the promotion of health;

(2)

hospital treatment of a sick or injured person; and

(3)

the training of doctors and nurses and the provision of training in health care disciplines.
