Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 1057.109
Contracts with Governmental Entities for Care and Treatment

The board, with the approval of the Matagorda County Commissioners Court, may contract with:

(1)

a county for the care and treatment of a sick or injured person of that county; and

(2)

this state or a federal agency for the care and treatment of a sick or injured person for whom the state or agency is responsible.
