Dissolution; Election


(a)

The district may be dissolved on approval of a majority of the district voters voting in an election held for that purpose.

(b)

The commissioners court may order an election to dissolve the district on its own order recorded in the minutes. The commissioners court shall order the election if the commissioners court receives a petition from 50 district voters.

(c)

The order calling the election must specify:

(1)

the location of the polling places;

(2)

the form of the ballots; and

(3)

the presiding judge for each polling place.
