Board Election; Term


(a)

The board consists of nine directors elected as follows:

(1)

two directors elected from each county commissioners precinct; and

(2)

one director elected from the district at large.

(b)

The two candidates from each county commissioners precinct receiving the highest number of votes from that precinct are elected as directors from that precinct. The candidate from the district at large receiving the highest number of votes from the district at large is elected as the director from the district at large.

(c)

Directors serve staggered four-year terms.

(d)

The board shall provide for clerks as in county elections.

(e)

The board shall enter an order declaring the results of the election.
