Board Election; Term

(a)

The board consists of six directors elected from the district at large.

(b)

Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081 (Optional Four-year Terms), Health and Safety Code:

(1)

directors serve staggered two-year terms, with three directors elected each year; and

(2)

a directors’ election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year.
