Tex. Parks & Wild. Code Section 49.001
Definitions


In this chapter:

(1)

“Resident” means an individual who has resided continuously in this state for more than six months immediately before applying for a falconry permit.

(2)

“Nonresident” means an individual who is not a resident.

(3)

“Falconry” means the practice of trapping, possessing, training, or flying a raptor for hunting purposes and includes the act of hunting by the use of a trained raptor.
