Tex. Nat. Resources Code Section 112.012
Required Information


(a)

The bill of sale shall include:

(1)

the name and address of the dealer, broker, or peddler;

(2)

the serial number, if any;

(3)

the kind, make, size, weight, length, and quantity of the used materials purchased or acquired by exchange;

(4)

the date of the purchase or acquisition by exchange, if different from the date of the bill of sale;

(5)

the name and address of the seller or person who exchanged the materials;

(6)

the place of location of the property at the time purchased or acquired by exchange;

(7)

the license number of each motor vehicle used in transporting a purchased or exchanged item to the dealer’s, broker’s, or peddler’s place of business; and

(8)

the driver’s license number of the seller or person who exchanged the materials.

(b)

A dealer, broker, or peddler under this chapter shall keep at his regular place of business all records required to be kept by this chapter for two years after the date of the purchase or acquisition by exchange of the materials.
