Tex. Labor Code Section 82.001
Definitions

In this chapter:

(1)

“Employee benefit plan” includes:

(A)

a retirement benefits plan;

(B)

a death benefits plan; and

(C)

a savings plan.

(2)

“Employer” includes a former employer.
