Tex. Labor Code Section 407.122
Board of Directors


(a)

The members of the association shall elect a board of directors.

(b)

The board of directors is composed of the following voting members:

(1)

three certified self-insurers;

(2)

one member designated by the commissioner; and

(3)

the public counsel of the office of public insurance counsel.

(c)

(d)

A member of the board of directors or a member of the staff of the board of directors is not liable in a civil action for an act performed in good faith in the execution of that person’s powers or duties.
