Tex. Labor Code Section 302.084
Use by Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board shall use the job placement information received under this subchapter and other information to:

(1)

evaluate the effectiveness of workforce education;

(2)

determine whether a public or private workforce education program is effective in placing persons who successfully complete the program in jobs related to the persons’ training; and

(3)

determine whether to continue, expand, or terminate a program established under Section 61.051 (Coordination of Institutions of Public Higher Education), Education Code.
