Conflicting Provisions

This chapter prevails over a conflicting provision of any other law of this state, including:

(1)

Chapters 221 (Property and Casualty Insurance Premium Tax), 222 (Life, Health, and Accident Insurance Premium Tax), and 223 (Title Insurance Premium Tax);

(2)

Sections 401.151 (Expenses of Examination of Domestic Insurer), 401.152 (Expenses of Examination of Other Insurers), 401.155 (Additional Assessments), and 401.156 (Deposit and Use of Assessment and Fee); and

(3)

Section 171.0525 (Exemption--certain Insurance Companies), Tax Code.
