Tex. Ins. Code Section 421.002
Certificates from Other States


In computing the reserve liability of an insurer, the commissioner may accept the certificate of the officer of another state charged with the duty of supervising the insurer if:

(1)

the insurer is organized under the laws of the other state; and

(2)

the certificate shows that the reserve liability has been computed in accordance with Section 421.001 (Reserves Required).
