Tex. Ins. Code Section 3504.0002
Applicability

(a)

This chapter applies to a travel insurance policy or certificate that:

(1)

provides coverage to a resident of this state or is sold, solicited, negotiated, or offered in this state; and

(2)

is delivered or issued for delivery in this state.

(b)

This chapter does not apply to a cancellation fee waiver or travel assistance service except as expressly provided in this chapter.
