Tex. Ins. Code Section 1806.101
Definitions


In this subchapter:

(1)

“Insurance” includes a suretyship.

(2)

“Insurer” means an insurance company or other legal entity described by Sections 1806.102 (Applicability of Subchapter)(a) and (b).

(3)

“Policy” includes a bond.
