Spouses and Children of Employees of United States Government

(a)

A group term life insurance policy may be extended, in the form of group term life insurance only, to insure the spouse and natural or adopted minor children of an insured employee of the United States government if:

(1)

the policy constitutes a part of the employee benefit program established for the benefit of employees of the United States government; and

(2)

the spouse or children of other employees covered by the same employee benefit program in other states are or may be covered by group term life insurance.

(b)

A policy to which this section applies is subject to Subchapter H.
