Tex. Ins. Code Section 101.154
Enforcement; Referral to Attorney General


The commissioner may refer the matter to the attorney general for enforcement if the commissioner has reason to believe that an insurer or person has:

(1)

violated an order issued under this chapter; or

(2)

failed to pay an assessed penalty or restitution.
