Human Resources Code Section 42.023
Annual Report
(a)
The department shall prepare an annual written report regarding the department’s activities under this chapter.(b)
The annual report shall include:(1)
a report by regions of applications for licensure or certification, of initial licenses issued, denied, or revoked, of licenses issued, denied, suspended or revoked, of emergency closures and injunctions, and of the compliance of state-operated agencies, if such agencies exist, with certification requirements;(2)
a summary of the training programs required by the department and their effectiveness;(3)
a summary of training and other professional development opportunities offered to facilities’ staffs;(4)
a report of new administrative procedures, of the number of staff and staff changes, and of plans for the coming year; and(5)
a report of trends in licensing violations on a statewide and regional basis and the department’s plans to address those trends through the provision of technical assistance.(c)
Copies of the annual report shall be available to any state citizen on request.
