Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 755.014
Removal of Board Members; Vacancy


(a)

The commission may remove a board member for inefficiency or neglect of official duty.

(b)

A board member’s office becomes vacant on the resignation, death, suspension, or incapacity of the member. The presiding officer of the commission shall appoint, in the same manner as the original appointment, a person to serve for the remainder of the unexpired term.
