Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 363.115
Tax Exempt Status of Certain Resource Recovery Systems

A resource recovery system acquired by a public agency to reduce municipal solid waste by mechanical means or incineration is exempt from property taxes of any municipality, county, school district, or other political subdivision of the state.
