Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 260A.009
Immunity


(a)

A person who reports as provided by this chapter is immune from civil or criminal liability that, in the absence of the immunity, might result from making the report.

(b)

The immunity provided by this section extends to participation in any judicial proceeding that results from the report.

(c)

This section does not apply to a person who reports in bad faith or with malice.
