Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 243.006
Inspections

(a)

The department may inspect an ambulatory surgical center at reasonable times as necessary to assure compliance with this chapter.

(b)

An ambulatory surgical center licensed by the department and certified under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. Section 1395 et seq.) is subject to an on-site licensing inspection under this chapter once every three years while the center maintains the certification.
