Hearing on Application to Make Gift

(a)

The county clerk shall immediately call the filing of an application under Section 1162.051 (Application to Make Gift) to the attention of the judge of the court.

(b)

The judge shall designate, by written order filed with the clerk, a day to hear the application. The application must remain on file for at least 10 days before the hearing is held.

(c)

The judge may postpone or continue the hearing from time to time until the judge is satisfied concerning the application.
