Tex. Est. Code Section 112.201
Definition of Certified Copy


In this subchapter, a “certified copy” means a copy of an official record or document that is:

(1)

authorized by law to be recorded or filed and actually recorded or filed in a public office; and

(2)

certified as correct in accordance with Rule 902, Texas Rules of Evidence.
