Tex. Est. Code Section 1106.001
Issuance of Certificate as Letters of Guardianship


(a)

When a person who is appointed guardian has qualified under Section 1105.002 (Manner of Qualification of Guardian), the clerk shall issue to the guardian a certificate under the court’s seal stating:

(1)

the fact of the appointment and of the qualification;

(2)

the date of the appointment and of the qualification; and

(3)

the date the letters of guardianship expire.

(b)

The certificate issued by the clerk under Subsection (a) constitutes letters of guardianship.
