Tex. Election Code Section 171.072
Committee Composition: Precinct with Three or More Election Precincts; First Meeting


(a)

The precinct executive committee for a commissioners precinct or for a justice precinct containing three or more county election precincts consists of the members of the county executive committee who reside in the commissioners or justice precinct, as applicable.

(b)

The members of a precinct executive committee shall elect a chair at the committee’s first meeting from among the committee membership.

(c)

The county chair shall call the first meeting of the precinct executive committee and shall notify each committee member in advance of the meeting of its time, place, and purpose.
