Cancellation on Request by Voter


(a)

A voter desiring to cancel the voter’s registration must submit to the registrar a written, signed request for the cancellation. A request may not be submitted by an agent.

(b)

The registrar shall cancel a voter’s registration immediately on receipt of a request under Subsection (a).

(c)

The registrar shall retain the request on file with the voter’s registration application.
