Tex. Educ. Code Section 86.24
Establishment of a Cemetery

(a)

The board may dedicate land owned by The Texas A&M University System within the Bush Presidential Library site to be used as a cemetery.

(b)

Subchapter C (Rules; Civil Penalty), Chapter 711 (General Provisions Relating to Cemeteries), Health and Safety Code, does not apply to a cemetery established under this section.

(c)

Appropriations from the general revenue fund may not be used to establish or operate a cemetery under this section.
