Tex. Educ. Code Section 135.59
Contracts with Institutions of Higher Education

The board may enter into any contracts and agreements with an institution of higher education, as defined by Section 61.003 (Definitions) of this code, or a private or independent college or university that is accredited by a recognized accrediting agency under Section 61.003 (Definitions) of this code, for joint participation in programs that may be designed to benefit the State of Texas.
