Advice from Court


(a)

The grand jury may seek and receive advice from the court regarding any matter before the grand jury. For that purpose, the grand jury shall go into court in a body.

(b)

The grand jury shall ensure that the manner in which the grand jury’s questions are asked does not divulge the particular accusation pending before the grand jury.

(c)

The grand jury may submit questions to the court in writing. The court may respond to those questions in writing.
